Sergio was still enjoying the podium achieved in Monaco , when he returned to the top 3, in Azerbaijan, to score his second podium in in the last three races.
Checo had a great qualifiying, finishing second, but a penalty sent him to the seventh place of the grid.
From there, Sergio came back and with another great handling of tires he scored the seventh podium of his career in Formula One.
Checo tied Pedro Rodríguez as the Mexican with the most podiums in the history of the World Championship.
