2015 Russian GP

With a lot of effort in the cockpit and with a little bit of luck too, Sergio returned to the podium by finishing third on the Sochi circuit.
The bet of a risky strategy paid to Checo, who with 40 laps in his second set of tires managed to stay in contention for the podium.
The wear and tear on his tires relegated him to fifth place, but in the final lap, a collision between Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen, allowed Sergio to go into third place to give Force India the third podium in their history and fifth of Checo's career.
